Amaravati’s ambitious Entertainment City is set to get a major boost as Creative Land announces plans for large-scale investments. The project will bring world-class attractions like theme parks, gaming zones, and a global cinema co-production hub, aiming to turn the region into a leading destination for entertainment and creativity.
In an effort to empower young talent, Creative Land Academy will set up an AI-powered virtual studio complex. Training and skill-building in the latest domains like AI, R&D, VFX, gaming, entertainment, technology, and tourism will be provided by the academy, leading to new learning and career opportunities for the youth.
Once operational, the project is set to turn Amaravati into a global production center, driving both economic growth and tourism. According to the signed memorandum of understanding (MoU), Creative Land is expected to draw investments of ₹8,000 to ₹10,000 crore over the next five years. The project further seeks to generate around 25,000 jobs, while drawing substantial foreign investments into the state.
Tweeting the news, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed the hope that the world-class creative township would make the economy stronger and enable greater global partnerships.
Since the development of Amaravati mainly depends on private investment, the state government remains busy convincing investors to hasten the progress. The pace of development will be determined by the rate at which companies come forward to invest and work in this ambitious project.
