CM Revanth Reddy Launches ‘Telangana Darshini’ Program for Students

The Telangana government has announced good news for students studying in government schools. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy revealed that students will have the opportunity to visit tourist and historical sites for free. He stated that the Government Order (GO) related to the ‘Telangana Darshini’ program was issued today. The initiative aims to educate students about historical and tourist destinations.
While unveiling the poster for Telangana Darshini, the Chief Minister urged industrialists to contribute to the preservation of buildings that symbolize our culture. He emphasized that the government would prioritize both welfare and environmental sectors in the state. The Chief Minister noted that many historical structures in the city had deteriorated due to the negligence of previous governments. He mentioned plans to restore the old Assembly building and establish a Legislative Council there. He also highlighted the need to preserve Jubilee Hall and announced actions to relocate Osmania Hospital to Gosha Mahal while safeguarding the existing building. The Charminar preservation project is ongoing, and efforts will also be made to protect other historical structures, such as the High Court building, City College building, and Purana Pul Bridge.
