Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who is now on an official tour in Japan, has alleged that some people are obstructing the cleaning of the Musi River. He stressed the need to learn lessons from Delhi’s pollution as holidays are being given to all institutions in Delhi due to pollution and that the national capital is paralyzed due to pollution alone.
Participating as the Chief Guest in a program organized by the Telugu Samakhya in Japan, he revealed that the decision to clean the Musi was made so that such situations do not happen to us. He said that Telangana has made more progress than expected in the IT and pharma sectors.
The CM is confident that the state is being made competitive with the world. He revealed that a dry port will be set up in Telangana. Revanth Reddy said that he saw the riverfront developed in Tokyo and that water is a symbol of our culture and development.
He asserted that cleaning the Musi River, expansion of the metro, regional ring road and radial roads are the most crucial aspects for the progress of Telangana. He said that his government’s intention is to increase investment in the state and create a large number of industries, and to increase job and employment opportunities for the youth.
Revanth Reddy explained that the development of Telangana requires the cooperation of the Japan Telugu Federation and urged them to help for the development of the state, so that the state can compete with the world. He asked them to share their thoughts with the government for the development of the state.
CM Revanth Reddy’s Japan tour, which began on the 16th of this month, will continue till 22nd. This tour will see CM Revanth meet the CEOs of giant companies like Sony, Toyota and Toshiba. The CM, who is on his fourth tour to Japan, has signed an MoU on investments worth about Rs. 40,ooo crores.
