Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu hailed that YogaAndhra is a super hit and a new history has been created by organizing the 11th International Yoga Day. He said that more than 3.3 lakh people reached the venue on time and this is the first time that 2 Guinness records have been created at the same time.
He expressed happiness that this success was achieved only with public awareness and that nature also showed mercy.
He explained that alternative arrangements were made as it was shown that it would rain 20 days ago. He praised that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given special popularity to YogaAndhra so that all countries can recognize it.
The Chief Minister expressed happiness that people of all ages got up at midnight and came with the call of YogaAndhra. He said that 26 theme-based yoga programs were organized in 26 districts and they were done in 101 places and 100 tourist places. He said that 2.5 crore people have done yoga in more than one lakh places.
Chief Minister Chandrababu recalled the developments of Hud Hud 10 years ago in Visakhapatnam. He said that they stopped burning crackers on Diwali, but today they enthusiastically came for yoga. The CM said that even the elderly came and performed asanas at his call.
The Chief Minister announced that a special declaration will be issued on the organization of the 11th International Yoga Day. He said that a logical conclusion will be given to this celebration, which has become a game changer. He said that yoga should be recognized as not a burden for the family and the state and Yoga Andhra will be promoted on a larger scale.
He said that they are creating new trends in connection with digital health cards in collaboration with the Bill Gates Foundation and this project is being designed to significantly reduce medical expenses while maintaining health.
He recalled that the Prime Minister noted that the work of the Cabinet Sub-Committee led by Minister Nara Lokesh has increased public awareness. He said that the Prime Minister would not have spoken if he did not have the facts and thanked the Prime Minister for his praise.
