Following a cabinet meeting, Chandrababu allegedly had in-house deliberations regarding political events related to the case. He reiterated that the probe is being done fairly and transparently by the authorities, and political responses are not necessary at this point.
The Chief Minister made it clear that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been given complete autonomy, with no political involvement in its operations. He warned that some groups are trying to portray the investigation as politically driven. Any statements by TDP leaders, he said, could be misinterpreted or twisted to support that narrative. Hence, he urged ministers and prominent party figures to avoid public commentary entirely.
According to reliable sources, the SIT has already gathered crucial evidence identifying the key beneficiaries in the scam. Arrests are expected soon, once legal procedures are in place. With the probe advancing, there are reports that leaders from the opposition YSRCP are resorting to threats and intimidation, particularly on social media.
Despite this, the government remains resolute. Officials have emphasized that police and investigative teams will proceed based strictly on evidence, without yielding to pressure or political narratives.
