He said that the 26.5-kilometer beach road from RK Beach to Bheemili in Visakhapatnam has been selected as the venue for the yoga celebrations. He said that steps should be taken to make 2 crore people participate in yoga programs across the state.
Arrangements should be made so that at least 5 lakh people directly participate in Visakhapatnam. He explained that the government’s goal is to achieve a Guinness World Record with dignity. “In addition to the Guinness record through yoga, we are going to register about 22 records. We have also made alternative arrangements in case of rain”, he said.
“There is no chance of rain at present. We are planning to set up a Central Institute of Naturopathy and Yoga. We are making all arrangements to organize yoga effectively. People and public representatives need to be partners. We will continue this program even after this”, CM Chandrababu added.
The CM said that the government is making strong arrangements in terms of security. He suggested that a total of 8,000 police personnel, 1,200 CCTV cameras and drones be deployed to control the situation.
