Telangana Assembly Debate Intensifies Over Musi River Project
A heated clash erupted in Telangana’s assembly on the third day of sessions, with ruling and opposition parties trading barbs over the Musi River cleanup initiative.
Government Shares First Phase Plan
Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu updated the assembly that the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the initial cleanup phase is ready. He explained it will require around Rs 7,000 crore and the removal of more than 1,400 structures. Eligible residents, particularly those in buffer zones, will be rehabilitated, he assured.
