Having already won hearts with Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty, South Indian heroine Anushka Shetty is set to get back onto the big screen with the eagerly-awaited pan-India movie Ghaati. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the movie also has Vikram Prabhu in a key role. Supported by UV Creations and and produced by Rajeev Reddy and Saibabu Jagarlamudi, Ghaati is billed as an intense action crime drama, with Anushka reportedly playing one of the most powerful roles of her career.
The movie first generated huge buzz with its initial promotional materials, receiving positive feedback from the fans and cinemagoers alike. Anushka’s dramatic makeover and the raw subject of the movie have further fueled curiosity..
While Ghaati was originally slated for release on April 18, the team later pushed the date to July 11.
