Ambati Rambabu Responds to Vijay Sai Reddy’s Allegations of Pressure in Jagan’s Case

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Ambati Rambabu has responded to recent claims made by Vijay Sai Reddy, who announced his resignation from politics and the Rajya Sabha, alleging he was pressured to become an approver in the illegal assets case involving former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Addressing these claims, Rambabu stated, “Vijay Sai Reddy himself admitted that he was under immense pressure to become an approver. This was news to us, as he never mentioned this to anyone despite being very close to us. If there were any facts in the case, there would have been no need for such pressure.”
Rambabu further suggested that the pressure was part of a strategy to fabricate testimony against Jagan Mohan Reddy. “Who are the individuals who pressured him? Vijay Sai Reddy should clarify who those people are. If he reveals their names, it will provide clarity,” Rambabu added.
The YSRCP leader pointed out that the pressure to become an approver implies the lack of substantial evidence against Jagan Mohan Reddy. “It is clear that there were no solid grounds for the case, as Jagan was imprisoned for 16 months without any concrete evidence,” Rambabu said.
Rambabu also criticized TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of focusing on undermining Jagan rather than prioritizing the state’s development.
