Allu Sirish takes the lead in Buddy, which is penned and directed by Sam Anton. The film, featuring Gayatri Bhardwaj and Prisha Rajesh Singh, had its theatrical release on August 2, 2024.
Netflix has revealed that Buddy will start streaming on August 30, 2024, only four weeks following its theatrical release. The film will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. After a tepid reception in theaters, it will be interesting to see how it resonates with audiences on OTT platforms.
Buddy features a cast that includes Ajmal Amir, Mukesh Rishi, and Mohammed Ali. Produced by Studio Green Films Private Limited, the film’s soundtrack is composed by Hiphop Tamizha.
