The sudden exit of Paresh Rawal from the much-awaited Hera Pheri 3 has left fans and the film team by surprise. While the actor later clarified his reasons, in a recent development, it is reported that co-star Akshay Kumar, who is also the producer of the film, has issued a legal notice demanding ₹25 crore in damages. The Hera Pheri franchise, starring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty, remains a cult classic comedy drama and holds a special place for movie lovers. Following the announcement of the third installment, fans eagerly awaited its release. However, things took a dramatic turn when Paresh Rawal confirmed he would no longer be part of the project.

Initially, his exit was believed to be due to creative differences, but Rawal later issued a statement, clarifying, “I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Phera 3 was not due to creative differences. I REITERATE THAT THERE ARE NO CREATIVE DISAGREEMENT WITH THE FILM MAKER. I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan the film director.”

Despite this clarification, sources close to the production claim the actor’s exit came after he had already signed the film and participated in several meetings and even began shooting. According to sources, this last-minute exit has caused damages for Akshay Kumar, who has already invested in acquiring rights and planning production.

As a result, a legal notice has reportedly been sent to Rawal, accusing him of unprofessional behavior and demanding ₹25 crore in compensation.
