A national poll survey has predicted that if elections are held in the state now, the BRS will come back to power winning a maximum of 87 seats in Telangana. A national media organization from Delhi recently conducted a survey in the state on the latest political situation and the one-year rule of the Congress. This survey, conducted at the end of February, revealed that people are extremely dissatisfied with the one-year rule of the Congress government.
The survey stated that people are looking towards the BRS and that sympathy for the party is increasing. It collected the opinions of 3,213 people in a total of 119 constituencies across the state. As part of the survey, Telangana was divided into four zones.
The survey was conducted by dividing it into GHMC, Hyderabad suburbs, North Telangana and South Telangana. However, the results were calculated in three zones. It was found that the majority of people wanted KCR and the BRS party as the CM.
It is known that the Congress Party won 64 seats and the BRS Party won 39 seats in the assembly elections held at the end of 2023. However, it has been revealed that the Congress Party will win only 14 to 21 seats out of the total 119 seats if the elections are held now.
At the same time, it is clear that the BRS Party will win a landslide victory by winning 73-87 seats. The survey has predicted that the Congress Party will again be defeated in the GHMC area. It has been revealed that the BRS will win 17 seats in the GHMC area, 28-38 seats in North Telangana, and 28-32 seats in South Telangana.
While the BJP has currently won 8 seats, if the elections are held now, it is likely to get 6-11 seats, while other parties will win 6-7 seats.
